Maltego is a software used for open source intelligence and forensic, developed by Paterva. Maltego focuses on providing a library of 'transfoms' for discovery of data from open sources, and visualising such information in a graph format, suitable for link analysis and professional data mining. It is widely used by specialised units of the police, law enforcement agencies and intelligence services in order to connect dots within investigations, exploiting open sources and social media.
Skopenow is one of the most powerful personal search engine in the world. By using automated intelligence, Skopenow builds digital footprints that include social profiles, blog posts, comments, contact info, court records, relatives, usernames, pictures, screenshots, timestamps, contact information, metadata and more.
Social Links is one of the best software solutions that can be used inside Maltego in order to investigate, explore and find evidence in social media, the darkNet and other open sources.
With Social Links, Maltego and Skopenow you can gather as much information from social media, the DarkNet and publically available sources in 1 hour, as a single person can collect in a whole week using traditional manual methods!
