STRATEGIC COLLABORATION TO ADVANCE AI-DRIVEN INTELLIGENCE CAPABILITIES IN INDIA

Protective Intelligence Network (PIN), headquartered in Singapore, and Maxgrid Securicor India have established a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing intelligence capabilities, strengthening security analysis and accelerating the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the Indian security and intelligence landscape.

The collaboration brings together two organisations with complementary expertise, international experience and a shared commitment to developing intelligence-led approaches to contemporary and emerging security challenges.

  • Protective Intelligence Network is represented by its Managing Director, Angelo Bani, a former senior official of the Italian National Police and INTERPOL, with extensive international experience in counterterrorism, organised crime, criminal intelligence, protective intelligence and international security cooperation.

  • Maxgrid Securicor is represented by its Director, P. M. Heblikar, former senior official who served as Special Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India.

STRATEGIC COLLABORATION TO ADVANCE AI-DRIVEN INTELLIGENCE CAPABILITIES IN INDIA

A Strategic Initiative for the Future of Intelligence

At the centre of this collaboration is the recognition that Artificial Intelligence is fundamentally transforming the manner in which intelligence is collected, processed, analysed and translated into operational decisions.

The growing volume, complexity and velocity of information generated by digital environments, social media, interconnected systems and emerging technologies require intelligence organisations to reconsider traditional analytical methodologies.

Through this partnership, PIN and Maxgrid Securicor intend to explore and develop advanced intelligence capabilities combining Artificial Intelligence, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), Social Media Intelligence (SOCMINT), data analytics and human analytical expertise.

The objective extends beyond the adoption of new technologies. It seeks to enhance the capacity of security and intelligence professionals to identify emerging threats, establish relationships between apparently unrelated information, recognise patterns of suspicious or hostile activity and produce timely, reliable and actionable intelligence.

Particular attention will be devoted to the development and practical application of AI-enabled intelligence platforms capable of supporting complex investigations, threat assessments, network analysis, risk monitoring and strategic decision-making.

India as a Priority Environment for Intelligence Innovation

India represents a particularly important environment for the advancement of AI-supported intelligence capabilities.

Its rapidly expanding digital ecosystem, technological expertise and complex security environment create both opportunities and challenges for intelligence collection, information exploitation and analytical innovation.

Within this context, the collaboration will explore opportunities to introduce, adapt and develop intelligence methodologies and technological solutions addressing the requirements of Indian public institutions, corporate security organisations, critical infrastructure operators and other relevant stakeholders.

The partnership will also examine how Artificial Intelligence can improve the efficiency and analytical depth of OSINT and SOCMINT activities while preserving the essential role of human judgement, source evaluation, information verification and responsible intelligence practices.

A central ambition of this initiative is to contribute to the development of a new generation of intelligence capabilities in India, integrating advanced technology with the professional expertise and operational understanding required to address increasingly complex security threats.
